BACKSTORY: Plain-air painting of the corner street of 102nd and west end avenue. In this oil painting i am simplifying the detail to larger geometric tones of color and articulating the surface with a painterly texture. My artwork is ultimately influenced by the great masters of Edward hopper, Fairfield porter, Norman Rockwell.
